This year, we faced many financial challenges as a community garden, having relocated and basically rising from the ground up. She demonstrated her leadership by coordinating brainstorming sessions and by helping us to revise our aged bylaws. We secured her services as a professional grant writer and she was successful in securing a sizeable grant from one of our partners, the Province of New Brunswick. We have also secured her services in the process of applying for our charitable status with CRA, a task that is time consuming and very specific.
